Quietly excellent care

A 24-room residence in the Surrey countryside, where the standard of care matches the standard of living.

"We set out to build a care home we'd want our own parents to live in. Not the cheapest. Not the biggest. Just the best we could manage."
— Richard Ashford, Founder

Dining room at Ashford Place

Food worth looking forward to

Breakfast is flexible — come down whenever you wake up. Lunch and dinner are served in the dining room, but there's always the option of eating in your room if you'd rather.

The menu changes daily. We use local suppliers, seasonal ingredients, and we don't take shortcuts. If someone wants a poached egg at 3pm, they get a poached egg at 3pm. Special diets, allergies, preferences — all handled quietly and without fuss.

We also host a monthly supper club where families are invited. Three courses with wine. It's popular.
